We’re pretty sure there’s more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And we plan on finding out what that is. In the meantime, we’re here to tell you about our new favorite eyewear shop that will help you look really, really, ridiculously good looking. Because it’s essential. And the eyes are windows to the face…or something.

The point is if your eyewear is blah then your head is blah and that’s just sad. Luckily Visualeyes comes through to make sure our eyewear – and thus our heads – look fly af. #blessed

Visualeyes first graced Western New York with its presence in 1988 when Dan Leberer opened up a small office in North Buffalo. As the business of fly eyewear grew Dan partnered up with his cousin Dave who specialized in contact lenses, and eventually the dynamic duo opened a shiny new location on Main Street in Amherst and added on services like eye exams and “an unsurpassed contact lens service”. Natch.

Now Visualeyes brings the finest lines of globally recognized eyewear to us right here in Buffalo all the way from New York, Las Vegas, and Europe. Which is like, so fetch. Plus they carry lines that can’t be found anywhere else in WNY – we’re talking Dita, Lindberg, Mykita Mylon, and Oliver Peoples – with a broad range of products at every price. Aka we all get to look ~supa dupa fly~.

As an added bonus, Visualeyes recently opened up their second location, Visualeyes City, in the Elmwood Village which made the amazing lines of eyewear they carry accessible to even more Buffalonians. Perfect because I need to get new sunglasses. And regular glasses tbh. The Elmwood location provides “an extensive selection of high-quality eyewear with a broad range of both style and price points”, aka more ways to look ~supa dupa fly~. But seriously we’re obsessed with the lines of eyewear they carry and it really is a game changer y’all. I mean, look at these sunglasses. LOOK AT THEM.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas.

Ok but real talk, our favorite thing about Visualeyes (aside from those glasses… like, come onnnn) is the amazing staff they have at both locations and the fact that even with their growth they’re still family owned and operated…which is one of the things that makes Buffalo businesses so great. The Visualeyes team are all very passionate about providing the finest eyewear (again, THOSE GLASSES) and optical services in WNY, and you walk through their doors as a customer and leave as a friend. Awww

Maybe that’s what’s more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?? They really do have it all at Visualeyes.

Make sure to follow Visualeyes on Facebook and Instagram for special events like trunk shows with sushi and wine (yes seriously) plus sales on their amaaazing lines of eyewear!
