Best of Buffalo’s New Year’s Eve Lineup 2015

It’s hard to imagine, but 2014 will be over in just a matter of weeks. That being said, it’s time to start planning New Year’s resolutions – ours is to have more fun. And, what better way to start 2015 than with a styling ensemble, excellent food and drink, and a little ambiance? Here’s a list of excellent ways to ring in the New Year in Buffalo.

 

The Historic Market Arcade

Need an awesome place to set the New Year off right while donating to a good cause? Look no further than The Historic Market Arcade and help give back to the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Tickets are $125 for general admission and $150 for the VIP package; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the hospital, so you can feel good knowing that your admission is going towards helping children in need. Both admissions include a four-hour open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, premium food stations and buffet, a photo booth, live blues and funk bands and DJs, downtown fireworks, and more. There will be a special performance by Young MC at 12:30 a.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. and food will be served from 9 to 11:30 p.m. You don’t want to miss out on this!

Statler City Ice Ball

It shouldn’t take too much arm pulling to get you to visit Statler City on New Year’s Eve. I mean why do you think this beautiful establishment is the prime place for weddings, events, and more? The Statler is hosting their annual Ice Ball with three different rooms still to choose from. The Golden Ballroom and The Golden Balcony, which features performances from the Boys of Summer, and The Terrace Room, which features performances by Jeremy Hoyle and The Strictly Hip, has an ambiance like no other. Admission is $150 per person for each room and includes house-made chips and dips, antipasti displays, chilled seafood stations, salads, pork, lobster raviolis, a whipped potato bar, and a dinner buffet that will knock your socks off. Dessert and a late night menu are also available with a five-hour premium open bar. Doors open at 6 p.m. and food will be served from 8 to 11:30 p.m. There will also be late night food served at 12:30 a.m., so you can be sure to get your eat on!

Rendezvous

Still want to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Statler City, but prefer a nightclub atmosphere? How about giving Rendezvous, located inside the Statler, a try! For only $60, your New Year’s Eve will be hosted by DJ Vixxxen and includes a four-hour open bar and hors d’oeuvres. This event is separate from the Ice Ball, so if you would like to enjoy both events, you must purchase tickets separately. Doors open at 8 p.m.

Black Iron Bystro New Year’s Eve Dinner

Black Iron Bystro, one of Step Out Buffalo’s Best New Restaurants of 2014, is offering a New Year’s Eve menu for those who like to start their year off with an amazing meal. The restaurant features two dinner times, 6 to 9 p.m. and 9 p.m. to midnight. The menu includes butternut squash bisque, winter green salad, heirloom potato croquettes, arancini, gin-cured gravlax, petite shoulder steak, faro succotash, pork tenderloin, petite maple apple crisp, and layered chocolate ganache. Can I pronounce most of these items? No. But that’s how I know it’s good! Dinner is by reservation only, so call soon to reserve your spot! Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Bubbles Ball

The beauty and elegance that is Salvatore’s Italian Gardens is a great place to start the New Year off right. The annual Bubbles Ball will be held in the Grand Bellamore’ room and features an open bar, bottles of merlot and chardonnay on each table, and an amazing dinner with filet mignon or salmon and entertainment. Tickets are $150 per person for this room and $115 per person for the Venetian Gala (menu may differ from Bubbles Ball). And how do I know you will love this event? Well, I used to work the New Years events at Salvatore’s for many years and witnessed firsthand just how much fun everyone had. Open bar starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 1:30 a.m.  Hats, horns, and champagne will be provided at midnight. Woo hoo!

 

New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball at The Foundry Suites

The Masquerade Ball has been brought back after taking a year off and will be held at the beautiful and newly renovated Foundry Suites in North Buffalo. General admission tickets are $99 each and VIP tickets are $150 each. Tickets include a four-hour open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, a midnight buffet, champagne toast at midnight, and more. Templeton Landing Nickel City New Year’s Eve

Yet another romantic and gorgeous place to enjoy New Year’s Eve is Templeton Landing. The restaurant and banquet hall is hosting a celebration featuring the Nickel City Pimp Choir. Admission is $89 per person and includes all food (which is quite the elaborate list of delicious food stations), an open bar, music and dancing, hats, noisemakers, and more. The event is held 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

 

Buffalo New Year’s Eve Gala 2015 at J’s White Elephant

Enjoy a nice sit-down dinner and drinks at J’s White Elephant this New Year’s Eve. Admission is $55 if tickets are purchased before Dec. 24 and $60 after. A four-hour open bar is included from 8:30 p.m. to midnight and you may also upgrade your ticket to include premium or ultra premium liquor.  Sit down seating for dinner is held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. There will be a choice of prime rib or stuffed boneless chicken. Delicious!

Resurgence Brewing Co.

Resurgence Brewing is offering a New Year’s party with a four-hour open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The event will feature Resurgence beers with a vodka and bourbon station. Hors d’oeuvres and a buffet are also included. Pre-sale tickets are available for $75 per person and $25 for non-drinkers and designated drivers. Live music will be played all night with a new beer release from Resurgence.

Like Polka music? How about a five-course dinner and a five-hour open bar? If the answer is yes then make sure you reserve your spot for the Polka New Year’s Eve Gala at The Millennium Hotel! For $10 per person, you can receive 2 for 1 drinks from 8 to 10 p.m., a balloon drop, and a champagne toast at midnight. Or for $40 per person you can get the VIP package, which includes hors d’oeuvres, an open bar from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., a private dance floor and the balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight. A live DJ will also be spinning your favorite hits all night long.

WNYBAC 7th annual New Year’s Eve Gala and Art Auction

Want to start your New Year off with a little culture and art? The Western New York Book Arts Center is hosting its 7th annual New Year’s Eve Gala and Art Auction from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve at 468 Washington Street in downtown Buffalo. Tickets are $70 for members and $80 for non-members. The event includes an evening filled with live music, a silent auction featuring work from local and international artists, basket raffles and door prizes, complimentary beer and wine, hors d’oeuvres, dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight. Guests will also be able to watch the ball drop from the Electric Tower from the two floors of the Book Arts Center.
