New trend alert!

Thrifting has been reinvented, and this time it’s all on Insta. Lately lots of thrifty shops have been popping up like crazy and we can’t get enough of them. We love hunting for unique finds, but doing it on the ‘gram? So easy. So fun. So perfect.

What makes these new local thrift shops unique is that all the browsing and buying is done right through Insta comments and DMs! Here’s how it works:

  1. Follow a local thrifting account
  2. When they post something you want to buy, comment on the post “SOLD” (sometimes they may ask you to DM – just read what the caption says!)
  3. That’s it. You now own a cool thrifted item!

Not only is it easy and fun, but these accounts do all the hard work for you, filtering through thrift stores and finding the best pieces to resell. From tie-dye and 1970’s dresses to vintage brass candlesticks and wicker peacock chairs, these accounts have it all. And all you’ve gotta do is comment to bid/buy! Most transactions are done through Venmo, so you don’t even have to get up to grab your credit card. Shipping or pick up info can be given via DM & ~voila~, you’re the proud owner of something cool and unique without ever leaving your bed.

Pro-tip: Make sure you check each accounts’ bio or highlight reels for specific instructions!

Without further ado, we’ve rounded up some of the best Buffalo based thrift accounts on the ‘gram for you to scroll and shop – check out these local accounts below!
