Details: Try something new this summer and learn to ride a horse from the professionals at Spruce Meadow Farm!  They offer many different lessons for beginners including 30, 45, and 60-minute lessons.  If you’re looking for some fresh date ideas, you can enjoy this experience with your significant other by purchasing their new date lesson package.  The two of you will learn how to groom and saddle up the horses before enjoying an hour riding lesson together. After the lesson, there are games to play and you’ll be provided with a gift bag. When you’re a beginner, you don’t need to worry about purchasing equipment. You’ll be required to wear a helmet there and they do ask that you wear long pants to protect your legs and that you wear a shoe or boot with at least a half an inch heal, not a flat shoe, to keep you sturdy in the saddle. Call or email to inquire about ride times and availability for your visit.

Where to Eat: Kennedy’s Cove offers delicious steaks and seafood dishes at their restaurant in Clarence.  They have fantastic weeknight deals like their Tuesday night dinner for two!  This includes a bottle of house wine and your choice of 12 oz. strip steak, two 8 oz. pork chops, two 8 oz. chicken breasts, or 8 oz. salmon with soup or salad, potato, and garlic toast for just $50!
