It’s no secret that fall is a beloved season both on and off the ‘gram. Whether its a pumpkin patch, apple orchard, or even just a snap with the changing leaves, there are so many Insta-worthy shots that are exclusively fall. Add a sweater, flannel, and your favorite boots to the mix and you have the ultimate fall photoshoot. Lucky for us, WNY has some of the coolest views and fall festivities to feature on your feed. We’ve rounded up some of the best places to get your perfect pic-and enjoy the scene IRL too.

1. The Great Pumpkin Farm
11199 Main St, Clarence, NY
This one is a tried and true fall classic –a tradition really. From the pumpkin tower to the corn mazes you can get the perfect shot. Not to mention the Witches Brew Cafe & Brew and the tricked out Halloween shop.
2. The Cobblestone District
Around 300 Ellicott Street (Electric City Mural)
There is no specific address for this one, but the cobblestone district is full of cool brick walls, perfectly worn-in buildings, and some cool graffiti and murals for your backgrounds. An ideal city setting for your Insta pic.
3. Mayer Bros. Cider Mill
1540 Seneca Creek Rd, Buffalo, NY
Another classic and Insta favorite. The Cider Mill not only offers a great background but the apple cider slushie of your dreams. Grab an apple cider donut and wear your best fall fit for that picture and fall treat all in one.
4. Ellicottville
Washington St, Ellicottville, NY
Another staple that we had to include. Ellicottville is basically the picture-perfect fall setting. Beautiful scenery, changing leaves everywhere, and the rustic town street. Right now is the ideal time of year to hit this spot.

5. Knox Farms
437 Buffalo Rd, East Aurora, NY
If you need any pictures done at all, this is the place. Knox Farms has barns, a dog park, and the entire field to explore. Take a nice fall walk and take a few pics while you’re at it. (Also a popular wedding and engagement destination!).
6. Apple Picking
An apple orchard is just about as fall as it gets. The best spot to rock an outfit and get your fall vibes on. Check out our guide to apple orchards in the area!

7. Clarence Town Park

Somewhat of a hidden gem when it comes to fall scenery. From beautiful trees and a bridge over the pond to a classic barn building shot. Make sure you walk a little farther back for this one to catch those leaves!
8. Downtown Buffalo
646 Main St, Buffalo, NY
The best spot is right in front of Shea’s to get your oh so Buffalove pic.

9. Elmwood Village
Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY
This is the spot for a fall walk, lunch, shopping day, and Insta picture. From sidewalk shots to murals everywhere, simply turn toward a camera and you have your shot.
10. Delaware Park
199 Lincoln Pkwy, Buffalo, NY
Specifically, the area around Hoyt Lake is so underrated for fall views. There are so many places here, around the lake and beyond, to enjoy and capture.
11. Tifft Nature Preserve
1200 Fuhrmann Boulevard, Buffalo, NY
This 264-acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails and boardwalks is bound to give you a great background. You can even enjoy a zen nature experience.
12. Chestnut Ridge Park
6121 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Orchard Park, NY
This is an amazing place for a fall trail setting and even a waterfall on the way. From bridges to forests this park has everything fall.

13. Tappo Restaurant
338 Ellicott St, Buffalo, NY
So there is a reason for this one –they have the most amazing greenhouses for fall! It’s a fairy light dream and the perfect evening photo op. Make sure you call ahead to book!
14. Akron Falls
44 Parkview Dr, Akron, NY
This waterfall park is beautiful even in the fall. A short walk or hike toward the waterfall is surrounded by changing foliage. Not only that, but there is still an entire park to explore-and even a gorgeous hidden rock garden and gazebo (if you can find it).
15. Your Favorite Local Cafe
Another must, Buffalo has really stepped up its cafe game this year and our Instagram feed cannot get enough. Grab a pumpkin spice latte and a caffeinated snap. Check out some local cafes in WNY!
16. Pick A Mural, Any Mural

17. The Rooftop Of One Seneca Tower
1 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY
This is a newbie but a goodie. If you can grab a private tour of the One Seneca Tower their rooftop is incredible. Even their lobby is worthy of the ‘gram. You can even grab lunch in their chef-run food court.
18. Hotel Henry
444 Forest Ave, Buffalo, NY
You can grab a gorgeous lunch from 100 Acres at Hotel Henry and walk their beautiful grounds and garden. The trees and brick walls make for a beautiful scene. Pro-tip: take pictures here right at golden hour and get the best lighting.
19. Letchworth State Park
A no-brainer for everything nature and fall.
