It’s no secret that fall is a beloved season both on and off the ‘gram. Whether its a pumpkin patch, apple orchard, or even just a snap with the changing leaves, there are so many Insta-worthy shots that are exclusively fall. Add a sweater, flannel, and your favorite boots to the mix and you have the ultimate fall photoshoot. Lucky for us, WNY has some of the coolest views and fall festivities to feature on your feed. We’ve rounded up some of the best places to get your perfect pic-and enjoy the scene IRL too.

1. The Great Pumpkin Farm

This one is a tried and true fall classic –a tradition really. From the pumpkin tower to the corn mazes you can get the perfect shot. Not to mention the Witches Brew Cafe & Brew and the tricked out Halloween shop.

3. Mayer Bros. Cider Mill

Another classic and Insta favorite. The Cider Mill not only offers a great background but the apple cider slushie of your dreams. Grab an apple cider donut and wear your best fall fit for that picture and fall treat all in one.

4. Ellicottville

Another staple that we had to include. Ellicottville is basically the picture-perfect fall setting. Beautiful scenery, changing leaves everywhere, and the rustic town street. Right now is the ideal time of year to hit this spot.

11. Chestnut Ridge Park

This is an amazing place for a fall trail setting and even a waterfall on the way. From bridges to forests this park has everything fall.

12. Akron Falls

This waterfall park is beautiful even in the fall. A short walk or hike toward the waterfall is surrounded by changing foliage. Not only that, but there is still an entire park to explore-and even a gorgeous hidden rock garden and gazebo (if you can find it).

13. Your Favorite Local Cafe

Another must, Buffalo has really stepped up its cafe game this year and our Instagram feed cannot get enough. Grab a pumpkin spice latte and a caffeinated snap.

14. Pick A Mural, Any Mural

From the “Don’t Let Poet’s Lie To You” mural to “Keep Buffalo A Secret”, just about any mural makes for an artistic shot. You can check out all of our guides to murals in every part of WNY here.

15. Letchworth State Park

A no-brainer for everything nature and fall.
