When I originally took this photo I liked the brick wall for it’s texture, but when I took a closer look while editing I was mesmerized by all the different shades of red-orange, black, and white that were mixed in. That kind of paralleled the reason why I love Buffalo. There’s such an amazing diverse community here and when they piece together, they create something strong, beautiful, and empowered. We’re all a brick in this city, but our walls don’t shut anyone out – we only collect more.
