Autumn is here, and The Terrace is here for it. Yep, you read that right. Your favorite summer patio spot is not closing down just because the weather’s turned all fall. With this new season, comes new menus and a whole lot of killer views of changing leaves along Hoyt Lake.

Chef Bruce Wieszala joined the Terrace team and introduced a brand-new menu in mid-September and the people are already raving about it. And with choices like these, it’s easy to see why.

#1: The New Menu

You’ll find smoked duck breast, steak frites, mushroom bolognese, meat loaf, and fish and chips with a twist on the main menu.

The appetizer menu is full of options, too. If you’re charcuterie obsessed like us, you need these meat and cheese boards in your life. FYI Chef Bruce is well known locally for his housemade cured meats and patés.

If you come with a group, look to the small plates section for all sorts of dishes, including grilled octopus with paella rice and roasted tomatoes; roasted heirloom carrots with ricotta, pistachio butter and honey; and fritto misto with shrimp, calamari, lemon, olives, chilies and lemon vinaigrette.

#2: Seasonal Drinks (Especially The Whiskey)

Can we all agree, seasonal drink menu releases are the best? Especially, when it involves an Autumn Sangria made with Cognac, Grand Marnier, cider, white wine, fresh fruit, and spices.

But the extra special addition to the bevy menu this season is for our fellow whiskey lovers out there. The Terrace’s expanded whiskey list now features 99 – yes, 99! – bourbons, ryes, scotches, craft whiskey, Japanese, Irish and Canadian whiskeys all priced at $7. And when we say all we mean literally all. Personally, we can’t wait to try the smaller batch and allocated amber beauties. Also, flights are $18, so you can totally discover your new favorite spirit.

#3 Event Game Strong

The Terrace is welcoming some of the city’s best jazz musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as on Sundays for brunch. This collab with Jazz Buffalo is already a community favorite, and def worth checking out.

Basically, if you’re feeling the fall season, The Terrace is here to help you live your best life.
