1. Soldiers Through The Ages

This event takes place on May 25 and 26

Ever wondered what it was like to be in the military back in the day? During this timeline event, you’ll experience four centuries of military history. You’ll see displays of military vehicles, uniforms and weapons as well as special demonstrations highlighted throughout the weekend. Mark your calendar for Memorial Day weekend.

2. French and Indian War Encampment

This event takes place on July 5, 6, and 7

History buffs one and all, this is the event you do not want to miss. Really though it’s Old Fort Niagara’s largest event of the year. This event has been happening for 40 years, and it’s one of the largest French and Indian War events in the entire world. NBD. Each year hundreds of reenactors come together to recreate the historic siege of 1759. Beyond the battle reenactments, you’ll experience siege demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, an exhibition of 18th century medicine, living history camps, artillery and musket firings, Native American councils and so much more!

3. Soldiers of the Revolution

This event takes place on August 10 and 11

Bring the whole fam along for this one. Together you’ll experience the American Revolution on the New York frontier as British and American forces battle. You can expect battle reenactments, living history camps, artillery and musket firings, and more.

4. War of 1812 Encampment

This event takes place on August 31 and September 1

Did you know Fort Niagara played an important role in the War of 1812? This moment in history will really come to life as reenactors recreate the 1813 British capture of the fort.
