Broomball

Broomball is very similar to hockey, but you don’t need skates to play. Instead you hit the ice with shoes and work together to hit a small ball around the ice with brooms. This coed league meets on Tuesday nights and includes 7 regular season games and is played with 6 players on the ice, including a goalie. At least 2 players on each team must be female.

Pond Hockey

This Tuesday night league happens at Canalside. Unlike traditional ice hockey, there are no goalies. Pond hockey is played with 4 players on the ice. It is a non-contact sport, so males and females can all play together. The league includes 7 regular season games, plus playoffs for all teams.
