1. The Martin House is a national historic landmark.

History buffs, listen up. The Martin House received National Historic Landmark status back in 1986. Plus, it’s considered one of Wright’s finest achievements of the Prairie period.

2. There are four types of collections to discover.

The estate contains 394 examples of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed art glass, including the famous Tree of Life window. There are also furnishings and decorative objects, artifacts and archival materials, and digital collections to see.

3. The restoration project is *finally* complete.

This $50 million restoration project that started back in 1996 is finally complete. The goal? Restore the Martin House estate to its appearance in the early 1900’s. The restoration of the historic landscaping was officially declared complete in 2019. Aka it’s the ideal time to come explore the estate.

4. You can choose your own touring experience.

You can book a one-hour tour, two-hour tour, or a specialty tour including the popular photography tour. It’s completely up to you! There are also self-guided tours, aka Wright Nights, on select Monday evenings for just $10.
