According to WGRZ and other Buffalo publications, the moment we’ve *all* been waiting for (for like 6 years that is) might finally happen ~sOoN~. Here are 4 signs we think Hofbrauhaus might open this fall.
Sign 1: WGRZ reported on Sept 15, 2020 that Hofbrauhaus Buffalo, currently still under construction at 190 Scott St in Buffalo from the looks of it, might even be open in time for Oktoberfest. At least, partially.
WGRZ reported, “A lengthy job posting on Indeed late Sunday night revealed the beer garden could be partially open in time for the fall beer drinking season and that they are looking to hire more than 40 people.”
Sign 2: Before you get too excited, we should tell you there’s still no official opening date set. But we’ve heard from a few insiders / investors via mysterious DMs (reliable? not sure) that things are happening behind the scenes. And at this point, that’s something.
Sign 3: The Buffalo News also recently posted a lengthy update titled “Have you heard the one about Hofbrauhaus?” 😂 with some vague info from managing partner Kevin Townsell about how as soon as they get the proper permits and licenses, they will move forward with a soft opening.
Sign 4: In August, Buffalo Rising did report that according to Townsell, the establishment would open in about a month. So there you have it.
Put all this together and you never know, we could have an epic beer hall experience to enjoy in Buffalo by Oktoberfest. Stranger things have happened in 2020.
