2. Big Ditch Cans Galaxy Red, Releases Risque Rose, Collaborates With Eli Fish

In addition to finally releasing their beloved Galaxy Red IPA in cans (available at the brewery and wherever great beer is sold), Big Ditch has also released Risque Rose, brewed with hibiscus flowers and rosé grape juice for lightly tart notes, big floral aromas and a delicious blended grape finish. Risque Rose is available in draft (crowlers and growlers to go), as well as limited availability at other bars and restaurants around Western New York.

Big Ditch is also set to release a new collaboration with Batavia’s Eli Fish Brewing, Nectar of the Nitwit Sour Belgian Dubbel, on January 13 at Eli Fish and January 14 at Big Ditch. Brewed with a blend of caramel and dark malts, Nectar of the Nitwit is a sweet, malty, dark, roasty and sour beer. At Big Ditch, a trio of Eli Fish beers will also be tapped – That is Not a Wizard (NEIPA with Rakau & Riwaka), Champagne Guapi (Sour with Marquette & Frontenac grapes) and The Hundredth Meridian English Barleywine.

3. First Line Brewing Launches New Seltzer Line

First Line Brewing has retired their Pregame Seltzer line and launched the Freedom Seltzer series. The first release of the series, Sangria Fruited Hard Seltzer, is available now on tap at the brewery. “Freedom Seltzer is more than just a new release,” the brewery says. “We are turning this into a whole new brand. We wanted to create something that we can mass produce and enter into the seltzer market in cans. We felt the branding of Freedom Seltzer was perfect. Mixing the love of America with a party fun vibe. And boom, you have an Uncle Sam solo cup!”

4. Celebrate Victory Monday Thanks to Rusty Nickel Brewing

Have you asked yourself, ‘what should I drink in honor of Bills Victory Monday?’ Well, Rusty Nickel Brewing has answered that conundrum with a new brew of the same name. This New England IPA, which features notes of orange citrus and tropical fruits with a soft body, is the perfect choice, not only come game time Saturday, but also for the following Monday. 5. Pressure Drop, Brickyard & Thin Man Pay Tribute to Class of 96’

Pressure Drop Brewing, Thin Man Brewery and Brickyard Brewery have teamed up yet again, this time paying tribute to the Class of 96’ with a hoppy and hazy Double IPA, brewed with El Dorado and Mosaic, then triple dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Galaxy and El Dorado hops.
