1. Pressure Drop Brewing to Bring Back Aunt Gladys Loganberry Sour

Pressure Drop’s Aunt Gladys Loganberry Sour is making its triumphant return at the Elmwood Village Farmers Market on June 19 at 8am. The beer features aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry and flavors of loganberry sweet tarts, with soft, bright notes of loganberry-led dark berry up front, with a subtle pucker in the finish. This beer sold out in hours when it was first released – don’t miss it this time around.

2. Community Beer Works, 26 Shirts to Drop New Beer for Charity

Community Beer Works and 26 Shirts have teamed up on a new charitable brew, Good Intentions IPA, and are kicking off the summer with a release party on Father’s Day, June 20 (12pm), featuring Hatchets & Hops, prizes, giveaways and a pop-up sale. Good Intentions features bright citrus, dank pine, and juicy peach with a mild bitterness and a well-rounded malt profile. A portion of proceeds from each sale of this beer goes to FeedMore WNY. Bring a non-perishable food item to be entered in a raffle to win a CBW/26 Shirts gift package. All items will be donated to FeedMore.

3. One-Eyed Cat Brewing at Buffalo Brew Fab Summer Open House

On June 19 (10am), One-Eyed Cat Brewing will again be plying their craft at Buffalo Brew Fab’s Summer Open House. They will be serving four beers at the event – Felicity Schwartzbier, 1312 Summer Stout, Alnilam Imperial hazy IPA, brewed with Sabro, Citra, Strata and Galaxy hops for soft notes of stone fruit and coconut and Picronale ESB, a malty, mildly bitter beer. They will have new merch available with a portion of proceeds going towards Black Love Resists in The Rust, raffles, prizes and Ten Lives Club will be adopting cats on-site.

4. Big Ditch, Young Lion Announce Collab Mixed Pack

Big Ditch have teamed up with Canandaigua’s Young Lion Brewing on Strong Alone Double IPA and Better Together New England-style IPA, which will be released in 4-packs on June 18 (11am). Big Ditch’s Strong Alone is 8.5% and features Strata, Simcoe and Vic Secret hops for flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and passion fruit, while Better Together is a hazy NEIPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacifica and Pacific Jade hops to give the beer notes of gooseberry, citrus, and tropical fruits. Both beers will also be on sale at retailers throughout the Buffalo and Rochester region. Also, look for tap takeovers at Butera’s in Hamburg on June 23 and and The Playhouse / Swillburger in Rochester on June 24.

5. West Shore Celebrates Dads Everywhere with New Beer

West Shore Brewing are honoring dads everywhere with the release of Dad Noises IPA, which is double dry hopped with back pain, lawn pride and a whirpool addition of groaning, on June 19 (12pm). The beer actually features NY Chinook and Citra hops to create a light and sessionable beer with citrus and melon notes.
