Buffalo is fortunate enough to have so many beautiful spots to relax, walk, ride bikes, or even just enjoy the outdoors.
We’ve all been to or at least heard of the most popular spots (like Delaware Park), but for those that are looking to explore and try something new, here are some of the lesser known nature trails in the WNY area you might not know about.

1. Losson Park, Cheektowaga

Losson Park (or Stiglmeier Park) is a 2.4 mile trail used for running, biking, and walking. The park also has horseshoe pits and volleyball courts.
2. Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, Depew

Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve is a 2.8 mile loop used for hiking, walking, biking, and more. The trail is open year round and offers lots of fun activities for all skill levels.
3. Birdsong Park Nature Trail, Orchard Park
Birdsong Parkway, Orchard Park, NY 14127
Birdsong Park Nature Trail is a 1.5 mile loop perfect for beginners. The trail is perfect for a relaxing, scenic walk.
4. Como Lake Park, Lancaster

Como Lake Park is a 4 mile trail mostly used for walking and running. There are numerous activities that occur year round that are perfect for all skill levels.
5. Linwood Gardens, Pavilion
