Theatre lovers this one’s for you! Shea’s 710 Theatre is the newest addition to the Shea’s family and has been growing in popularity since opening in 2011. Not familiar? Shea’s 710 Theatre seats 625 comfortably and features a “thrust stage” that projects into the auditorium. Attendees can sit on any of three sides and enjoy stellar sight-lines from every seat in the house.

Western New York’s theatre community is undoubtedly growing and that’s one more reason why attending a show here is an absolute must.

Check out the 2018 – 2019 Season lineup:

1. The Three Musketeers

Nov. 1 to 18, 2018

The season kicks off with an epic journey of the swashbuckling Three Musketeers. If you have an adventurous spirit, you need to see this classic tale in action.  Five local theaters are teaming up to give new meaning to all for one and one for all.

2. Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

Dec. 7 to 22, 2018

Have you ever wondered what happened to the beloved characters in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice? Come spend Christmas at Pemberley with the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Darcy as we learn how the bookish middle sister Mary is faring, and how an unexpected guest may turn the tide on her seemingly spinster ways.

3. Almost, Maine

Feb. 14 to 17, 2019

One of the most-produced plays in the United States, Almost, Maine is a whimsical series of nine vignettes about love in a snow-covered town. Four actors play the 20 residents of the fictional town of Almost, Maine, an off-the-map location that’s as enchanting as its charm-filled characters. Some vignettes are silly, others are somber, but all transport audiences to a dreamlike place beneath the northern lights where love drifts along like snowflakes in the wintry air.

4. Million Dollar Quartet

March 14 to 24, 2019

MusicalFare Theatre’s smash hit come’s to the Shea’s 710 stage!  This Tony Award-winning musical is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever!

5. Fun Home

May 9 to 19, 2019

Presented by MusicalFare Theatre, FUN HOME is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.  Winner of five 2015 Tony Awards including Best Musical, FUN HOME is based on Allison Bechtel’s best-selling graphic novel.

Love the theatre? Do you have season tix yet? You need them. A season pass includes admission to all 5 of these shows for around $200. You can choose to buy a subscription for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights or enjoy a Sunday matinee.
