1. For Locally Grown Plants

This local garden center is a destination for flowering annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, natives, herbs, vegetables, bulbs, and houseplants. The majority of plants are homegrown right at Lockwood’s.

2. For Educational Workshops

Did you know that Lockwood’s is dedicated to education? Many customers—new and old—love visiting Lockwood’s because they can learn something new in gardening classes, hands-on workshops, and lectures from guest speakers. From exploring ways to make bouquets to mastering certain gardening techniques, there’s a lot to learn at Lockwood’s. Right now, the Lockwood’s team is even offering virtual workshops.

3. To Shop Local Vendors

In lieu of their annual Fall Festival, Lockwood’s is hosting a special event called September Saturdays. September Saturdays will feature a variety of vendors, nonprofit organizations, and artisans who will be on-hand to showcase art, crafts, and a shared commitment to the community. Each Saturday will also feature a food truck onsite for take away meals.  P.S. Don’t worry—social distancing and all relevant guidelines will be in place to create a safe and fun shopping experience.

4. For Special Sales

Every Saturday throughout September, Lockwood’s will be set up with sales on select plants and merch.  Each week will feature special sale pricing.  Check out the website to find the featured sale event. And did we mention that some of your favorite food trucks will be there, too?!  Yes, it is worth mentioning twice.

5. To Find Seasonal Items

Sadly, summer is coming to a close. Fortunately, Lockwood’s is here to ease the transition. Talk to a Lockwood’s expert about the best perennial flowers, trees, and shrubs to plant as the summer season ends. And if you’re looking for a houseplant to warm up the cold days of winter—for yourself, a friend, or a loved one—there are plenty to choose from. Will there be gourds galore and plenty of pumpkins to pump up the Halloween season? You know it! No matter what you’re looking for in garden and home supplies this summer and fall, there’s plenty to discover at Lockwood’s.
