News flash! Summer is over, but restaurant exploration season never ends. Yes, Liberty Hound’s waterfront views are everything. But that’s no reason to cross it off your go-to list September through May, guys.

If you’re looking for a new-to-you restaurant to try, add this one to your list. If you’ve already been, go again and try something new. This menu is anything-but-average, and we are loving all the super unique options.

#1: The Tuna Nachos

Love sushi? Love chips? This app is for you. The sushi grade tuna is legit and this dish is stacked with toppings. Fried wontons, wakame, shredded carrots, sesame seeds, scallions, and sirachi aioli all on one plate. Yes, yes, yes!

#2: Lobster Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese is tried-and-true. You really can’t go wrong with bread and cheese. But this sandwich adds an extra special ingredient. Yup, it’s Maine lobster. Throw in grilled tomatoes, four cheeses, and sourdough, and this is the kind of grilled cheese you dream about afterwards.

#3: Crescent City Spring Rolls

Maybe it’s just us, but “spring rolls” a major trigger word. This version involves blackened chicken, andouille sausage, trinity vegetables, red beans, cheddar cheese, and wait for it… pepper jelly. Yes, pepper jelly! Say whaaaat?

Cooler weather calls for comfort food. You can bet when we heard bountiful bowl, we were sold. This one comes filled with shrimp, scallops, cod, clams, and potatoes. And, you have your choice of New England white or San Francisco style red.
