Intimidation can be a huge barrier, especially when it comes to the world of fitness.
If you’re intimidated by CrossFit, you’re not the only one. A lot of people are at first. But when you have the right people in your corner, those feelings can fade away.
Each of the owners at RockPile Athletics found CrossFit through different paths, and they joined forces to create a space where everyone would feel welcome and empowered. This CrossFit gym is open to all regardless of their current fitness level.
Here’s 5 things you need to know about RockPile Athletics:
1. RockPile is more than just CrossFit.
RockPile Athletics isn’t your average CrossFit gym and here’s why. They offer a variety of class types from the traditional workout of the day to classes with a gymnastics focus, lifting focus, endurance focus, or mobility and recovery focus to express sweat sessions and total body workouts. This way, you can find something that works for you.
2. RockPile is more than a gym, it’s a community.
When you set goals here, you’re never alone because there’s a community standing by to support you. If you’re looking for people to encourage and motivate you to be the best version of yourself, that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Not to mention the many volunteer and team building opportunities.
3. RockPile offers nutrition coaching & personal training.
RockPile has certified nutrition coaches and personal trainers on staff. Your coach will create a custom nutrition plan or workout regimen to suit your lifestyle and goals. Plus they hold you accountable through routine check-ins. If you need a little extra motivation, they have nutrition challenges too.
4. RockPile offers different membership options.
Everyone’s fitness goals are different. That’s why RockPile offers options. You can opt for an unlimited monthly membership, purchase class passes, or choose a programming only or self-service open gym only membership.
5. RockPile offers new programs.
The Cave by RockPile is new (as of earlier this month) and focuses on max interval training. These classes combine elements of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training while staying focused on CrossFit. This new concept is great for beginners and avid CrossFitters.
