The Taste of Buffalo, Buffalo’s largest and most impressive food fest full of live music and lots of #Buffalove, is just around the corner.
While Buffalo may not be known for our healthy food (hey, we’re getting better) these restaurants are ensuring you can taste all of what Buffalo has to offer without ruining your diet. And honestly what’s better than delicious Buffalo food that’s also ~good for you~? #nutritiousanddelicious
Healthy Options, a program created by Independent Health Foundation, has been successfully making Buffalonians healthier. This is their 11th year working with the Taste of Buffalo to ensure each restaurant offers at least one delicious healthy option to go along with the others. We know how hard it is to stay on track when surrounded by Buffalo’s famous food, but these choices will have your mouth watering just as much (if not more), with options like truffled potato wedges, grilled fish tacos, bruschetta pizza, and a tomato, watermelon and feta salad. Expand your stomachs folks, because we are trying it all (and because it’s healthy we’re not feeling guilty about it. Holla!)
Here is your master list of healthy options being served at Taste of Buffalo, use wisely.
