Planning a trip with your extended family, or entire friend group is easier and cheaper thanks to Airbnb. So we here at Step Out Buffalo put together a list of places to stay when exploring the sights and sounds of the Queen City with a large group. The best part about booking with a bunch? You can split the price 10 or 15 ways aka you’ll have more money left to spend. That’s a win-win.

1. Entire House in Downtown Buffalo / Accommodates 18 guests / 7 bedrooms, 11 beds, 3.5 baths

Downtown/Buffalo, NY

Big travel groups this is for you. Two apartments = the best of both worlds. Privacy when you want it, and socialization when you want it too. Specifically this place has four different balconies, three living spaces, two kitchens, and two separate dining areas.

Location, location, location. During your stay, getting in and out of Buffalo is a breeze. With so many cool spots in walking distance, exploring is a must.

2. All You Can Ask For In One Space / Accommodates 16 guests / 6 bedrooms, 10 beds, 2 baths

North Buffalo/Buffalo, NY

This booking comes with two apartments in one recently renovated house. Keep the spaces separate or come and go between both as you please, it’s your choice. This particular booking includes two apartments. Each space has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and dining room, and parking spots. Plus, there’s a backyard, porch, and balcony.

The North Buffalo charm and neighborhood walkability are major perks. And hey, two apartments for the price of one is a deal worth looking into.

3. Cool Location, Cooler House: An Allentown Gem / Accommodates 14 guests / 4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2.5 baths

Allentown/Buffalo, NY

From the exterior, this big, bright Victorian may look like just another house on the block. Inside, you’ll find timeless architectural details of the past blended with today’s modern conveniences. From the restored hardwood floors and stained glass windows to the brand-new eat-in kitchen, there’s beauty around every corner.

The tasteful and eye-catching decor are fitting since Allentown itself is a charming and eclectic neighborhood. With local bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance, exploring by is super easy.

4. Close to Historic U.S. Falls / Accommodates 16 guests / 6 bedrooms, 8 beds, 4.5 baths

Niagara Falls, NY

If exploring Niagara Falls is on your family’s wishlist, look this place up. Niagara Falls State Park is within walking distance, and area attractions are a short drive away. But seriously the roar of the rapids can be heard from the terrace and sunroom.

This 4,000 square-foot house was built in 1916, and still has many of its original historic features, including a gorgeous staircase, solid wood doors, ornate fireplaces, and a butler’s pantry. Traveling with the kiddos is much-easier when your home away from home is family-friendly. During your stay, you’ll find high chairs, kids tableware and eating utensils, kids cots, pack n plays, a crib, and a kids play area aka staying here is convenient for everyone involved.
