1. Thin Man Brewery to Release Cherub Oud Bruin
This Friday, Thin Man will release bottles of Cherub Oud Bruin, a 5.7% Belgian Oud Bruin matured for a year in stainless with Thin Man’s house souring culture. This beer features notes of lemon pith, cherry and plum with dry, but lightly malty, base. Bottles are available this Friday at all Thin Man locations.

2 & 3. New Community Beer Works IPA, Community Table Beer Dinner
CBW is teaming up with 26 Shirts on Erin Go Buffalo IPA, a 6.2% IPA that features notes of bright citrus, dank pine and juicy peach with a mild bitterness and a well-rounded malt profile. The new beer will be released on March 4 (5p). There will also be a 26 Shirts pop-up sale at the release. A portion of proceeds from each sale of this beer goes directly to FeedMore WNY. On March 6, Community Beer Works’ kitchen team, led by Head Chef Skylar Pratt, will prepare a five course meal, each paired with a beer produced on-site by Head Brewer Ryan Demler and his brew team. In addition, you’ll learn about CBW’s various community partners, including farmers, bakers, merchants and even other breweries, how we work with their ingredients in the food and beer. You’ll learn about each beer and why they were selected to complement their respective dish and your ticket includes beer to take home. Tickets are $99 (+tax and gratuity) and includes valet parking. Seats are limited.

4 & 5. 42 North Release New Beers to Celebrate Mardi Gras
42 North Brewing is dropping Gose Out Like A Lime Strawberry & Lime Fruited Gose on March 5 for their Bayou, Beads & Brews Mardi Gras Celebration. This 5.6% fruited gose is brewed with strawberry, lime, and lactose. 4-packs to-go and draft will be available Saturday. You can order for pick-up and shipping at theoutpost42n.com. Gose Out Like A Lime will be available in wherever great beer is sold next week.

The Bayou, Beads & Brews Mardi Gras Celebration on March 5 features live music from The Fredtown Stompers (8-10p) and a unique Fat Bob’s menu inspired by New Orleans dishes. There will be beads available for all patrons, as well as a photo station accompanied by various mask choices. 42 North has also released SoBo Irish Red Ale and Hot Cocoa Stout just in time for the event and also welcomed back Fenian’s Raid Irish Stout.
6. Buffalo Brewing to Release New Lager to Benefit Ukraine
On Thursday, Buffalo Brewing Company are set to release Lviv Cocktail European Lager, a new crispy brewed to benefit Ukraine. $2 of every pint sold will be donated to the people of Ukraine. The beer was inspired by news that Pravda Brewery in Lviv switched production from beer to Molotov cocktails as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues.
