1. New Porter and Kveik Ale Coming to Community Beer Works

CBW is showing some love to a pair of underappreciated styles this weekend with the release of Parade Upgrade, an English-style porter, and Ultralutra Lutra-Beer, a Kveik ale. Parade Upgrade is an English-style porter that’s smooth and malty sweet with subtle dark malt character, and Ultralutra is brewed with lemongrass and lemon verbena and dry-hopped with Bravo and Anthanum to create a crisp, clean, and bright, lager-like beer with a citrus touch. On sale March 26 (3pm). Pre-order at

2. Thin Man Brewery to Release Two Beers This Weekend

Not to be outdone, Thin Man are dropping a pair of beers this weekend, Fantasma, a 6.2% oat cream IPA brewed with Enigma, Galaxy and Comet hops and lactose, and Hijack the Frequencies, a stout brewed with coffee and vanilla. Cans will be available on March 26 at all Thin Man locations (Elmwood, 3pm, Chandler, 4pm, Transit, 4pm).

3. New Hazy IPA, Brickyard Brewing Pop-Up at Pressure Drop Brewing

Saturday is going to be a busy day at Pressure Drop, as not only will they release Happy Turtle, their latest hazy IPA, but they’ll also be hosting a pop-up from Lewiston’s Brickyard Brewing. Happy Turtle is a Citra-hop dominant IPA that’s crisp and dry, a true East Coast – West Coast hybrid. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, a collab between Brickyard, Pressure Drop and Thin Man, will also be available. This IPA was brewed to raise money for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Open Saturday from 12-5p. Pre order at

4. Southern Tier to Release New Coconut Truffle Imperial Milk Stout

It’s always stout season at Southern Tier Brewing, who are releasing a new Nitro Coconut Truffle Imperial Milk Stout, the latest entry into their Blackwater Series. This imperial milk stout has a slightly sweet, nutty aroma of coconut that balances rich and roasty notes of chocolate, toasted wheat, and dark malts. Coming soon to select markets and in our taprooms in 4-pack 12oz cans and on draft.

5. Hofbrauhaus to Hold Special Marzen Keg Tapping

At 7pm on March 24, Hofbrauhaus Buffalo will hold a special keg tapping for their Marzen. A parade will be held at 7pm leading up to the keg tapping. A traditional Munich brew, the name derives from the month it was originally brewed in – March. The beer features caramel and biscuit flavor with an intense hop aroma. Make sure to make your reservations on Open Table.
