1. Borrow Chromebooks & WiFI Hotspots

In case you didn’t know, you can actually borrow a Chromebook and WiFi hotspot kit from the library in order to access the Internet! Kits are available to be checked out at several library locations. Read more about it on the library website!

2. Use a Public Computer & High-Speed Internet

You can also just jump on a public computer at any of the 37 libraries to surf the web for access to the library catalog and a whole lot more. All Buffalo & Erie County Public Library locations offer high-speed Internet to help you accomplish anything you need to on the computer or by using your own device.

3. Take a Training Class

Looking to further your professional skills or just feel like learning something new? You’re in luck, the library offers free training courses, both onsite and virtually. Topics range from setting up an email to basic coding and more!

4. Visit the LaunchPad Makerspace at the Downtown Central Library

If you’re ever at the downtown Central Library, check out the LaunchPad Makerspace. It has everything from laser cutting, computer programming, 3D printing, media production, sewing machines, and collaborative work spaces for you to use as you see fit for whatever creative project you’re working on.

5. Download eBooks & eAudiobooks

You’re probably already well aware that the library has a plethora of physical books and other print materials to check out. But have you explored their extensive catalog of eBooks and eAudiobooks? Tens of thousands of downloadable books await you 24/7!
