Picnics are a traditional summer activity, it’s true. But we’re guessing it’s not something you actually do all that often, which makes the idea something different to try. We especially love the fact that picnics are so very customizable, allowing you to pick the time, place, seating arrangement, your beverage of choice (BYOB at your own risk), and edible spread.

Whether you’re planning a cute date night, a fun family outing at a park or simply enjoying a picnic in your backyard, WNY restaurants are making this type of dining experience extra-accessible this summer with ready-made picnic packs. Plus, Step Out Buffalo’s got you covered with an entire guide of Perfect Places to Picnic in the Park.

Here are a few restaurants offering “picnic kits” for a grab and go picnic – don’t forget to pre-order them. If you’re looking for something different, may we suggest just grabbing take out from literally anywhere and a blanket and getting to it?
