This year is a leap year and you know what that means Buffalonians, an extra day of spin-the-wheel-anything-goes weather.

If you’re like us, February is when your Seasonal Affected Disorder goes up a notch, driving you crazier than blown calls in a Buffalo Bills playoff game. You need to do something, anything! Getting out of the house for some good vibes and loud music is a great way to jar loose some endorphins; probably according to science. So go ahead and peruse the list below of some of the best concerts this month.

(Some of these shows may be sold out, but obviously you can still find tickets on StubHub, Craigslist, Facebook, Tinder, Grindr, in your Valentine’s Day card, etc. C’mon guys, make love and don’t @ us.)

1. KISS + David Lee Roth

DATE: February 5th

LOCATION: KeyBank Center

COST: $35 – 995.50

Does it get any more Dad Rock than KISS and David Lee Roth!? Once taken seriously by legions of diehards, both of these acts are now neck-deep in irony and probably in on the joke. It’s all feel-good, ridiculous fun – exactly what you need in February.

2. Soulive

DATE: February 14th

LOCATION: Tralf Music Hall

COST: $22 – 32

File under: Local Boys Who’ve Done Well. Soulive have been cranking out funky, jazzy and soul hits for more than two decades, earning a massive amount of respect in the process. The local lads have even played a few sets with Questlove of The Roots. Their occasional return to The Tralf should not be missed.

3. Blouses of the Holy

DATE: Feb 8th

COST: $10

This annual Led Zeppelin tribute show is always a local music highlight and this year, it’s being held at a newly-opened venue: The Cave. Come out for the spot-on takes of classic Zeppelin tunes and to check out Buffalo’s newest live music spot.

4. Boyz II Men

DATE: February 15th

LOCATION: Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino

COST: $55 – $125

Boyz II Men may be a 90s act, but you’d never know it hearing them sing in 2020. If you’re Grown and Sexy, this appearance isn’t to be missed.

5. Fitz and the Tantrums

DATE: February 22nd

LOCATION: Fallsview Casino

COST: $45.20 – 67.80

A massive band like Fitz, shouldn’t be playing a venue this small. But they are and you should take advantage of it.

6. The Toasters

DATE: February 23rd

LOCATION: Mohawk Place

COST: $12

Sound the Warped Tour Mom and Dad Alert. The Toasters are an OG ska band that have inspired everyone from Gwen Stefani to The Interrupters. Wear your dancing shoes.

7. The Lumineers + Mt. Joy

DATE: February 26th

LOCATION: KeyBank Center

COST: $34.50 – 54.50

Indie pop concerts don’t get much bigger than this. If you like life-affirming sing-alongs, you need this show in your life.
