Buffalo Quickies – February 10th – March 5th, 2022

Another year of all-new short plays is making its way to Alleyway! A beloved Buffalo tradition, Buffalo Quickies is a festival of new plays that features works from the best new playwrights in Western New York and throughout the country.

Berserker – March 31st – April 23rd, 2022

“A man. A boy. A bear. And Led Zeppelin.”

In this Mazumdar-winning new play, a teacher comes face-to-face with a bear in the wilderness, spirals into a mid-life crisis, and forms an unlikely friendship with a young boy as the two help each other step forward into a brave new future.

The Oregon Trail – May 5th – May 28th, 2022

It’s 1996 all over again in The Oregon Trail— a play where the beloved game comes to life as a middle schooler named Jane is trapped playing it in her school’s computer lab. As the game whisks the audience back to 1848, Jane forms a bond with her ancestors and navigates the complexities of a modern life.
