This local company’s story started with a street cat in Downtown Buffalo.
Nick Mussolini rescued a cat from the streets one night outside of Soho back in 2014. He later decided to start a business to educate people on animal rights, and he named The Soho Project, after his cat. The Soho Project is dedicated to protecting and funding the rights of animals all around the world.
Nick later created Avenue29 Foods to help fund The Soho Project. This cause-driven company is completely meatless, and all about creating flavorful, fresh, and healthy vegan food that’s inspired by lots of different cultures.
Forget boring salads because Avenue29’s dishes are made with flavorful ingredients and the freshest produce around. Plus, their dishes are full of nutrition so you can eat and energize at the same time.
You can expect unique spins on your favorite street food from Avenue29.
Since the very beginning, they have been known for their quinoa bowls. Their famous bowls are made with fresh white quinoa, seasoned black beans, fire roasted chili lime corn, and topped with freshly made guacamole, shredded lettuce, jalapeños, and their signature sauces aka cilantro lime and honey chipotle.
