Grand Island’s favorite cupcake shop, Baked Cupcakery, is expanding inland (thank god!). From now on you’ll be able to get their delicious treats at their new location in Williamsville as well as on Grand Island where they got their start.
Owner Jonathan Bondi, who started Baked Cupcakery with his wife Tara in their hometown of Grand Island, tells us that the new shop will be fully stocked with cupcakes, cookies, and cake pops. They’ll have a JoeTap, a fairly new nitrogen infused coffee system that was first introduced to Western New York through the Bondi’s, installed at the new shop next week. Williamsville, you lucky ducks.
“This shop is the exact opposite of the other shop,” explained Bondi. “We went industrial rustic here because the building is from the 1880’s. It has all the original flooring and exposed ceilings with industrial light fixtures. It’s a gorgeous space!”
BC’s Grand Opening date has yet to be determined, but will occur within the next couple weeks. During their soft opening hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 7pm. Expect them to change once they get some feedback from local customers.
