Both of Billy Club’s new menus focus on the bright and vibrant flavors of spring, and as always everything is made with top notch, fresh ingredients. Yes, and yes!
When this whiskey bar opened a year ago, it brought upscale dining, clever cocktails, and new flavors to Allentown. Once again, they are bringing something different and delicious to the local food and drink scene in the historic Allentown district and we continue to be *grateful* for it.
Highlights on their new cocktail menu includes a Honeydont cocktail (extra points for the awesome name) made with honeydew infused tequila, lemon juice, and simple syrup, and a Roshambo cocktail made with rye, lemon, cocchi, pineapple shrub, and an IPA top. Fresh fruit and totally drinkable spirits, it’s basically healthy, right?
On the dinner menu, some standouts include Mussels served with fresh cut fries, coconut tomato sambal, cilantro, and creme fraiche as well as the Braised Rabbit which is served with housemade cavatelli pasta, carrots, peas, and sea beans. YAS. With options like these, it’s clearly time to schedule a dinner date or four.
Let’s talk brunch. Clear your calendar because Sundays in the spring and summer are strictly for brunching. By now, mimosas and bloody mary’s are a given, and Billy Club’s brunch menu has your favorite morning libations fully covered and then some.
If you love to start your day with everything savory, go for the Short Rib Hash with poached eggs, and let’s not forget about the Biscuit Sammy with eggs, Canadian bacon, and cheddar. For the brunchers with a weakness for sweetness, try the French Toast with Chantilly Cream and candied almonds or the Buckwheat Pancakes with house cultured butter.
