Borderland Festival is back and bringing unparalleled energy and musical flair to the historic, picturesque Knox Farm State Park on September 17 and 18!
The lineup for this two-day festival includes more than 20 bands on three stages. You can expect a diverse mix of national and regional, rock, country, and Americana artists to take the stage.
When choosing this year’s headliners, the festival organizers thought outside of the box in order to make the festival experience better and more memorable for loyal fans as well as newcomers.Â

American psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips and alt-rock band Portugal. The Man are headlining the festival.
Some of the bands joining them include Michael Franti & Spearhead, Keller Williams’ Grateful Gospel, The Infamous Stringdusters, Donna the Buffalo, Driftwood, and The Big Easy of Buffalo presenting Dumpstaphunk. The full lineup will feature 20+ bands.Â
Borderland Festival is all about celebrating the rich history and renaissance of the region in one of the most scenic and storied grounds in all of New York State.
The festival experience has been deeply rooted in supporting the local community since the very beginning.Â
In addition to live music, there will be 20+ curated local artisan vendors in the historic Knox Stables, a variety of hand-picked food vendors, a Buffalocalâ„¢Craft Beer tent with local beer and cider, and curated craft spirits and wine.
Plus, there will be a Sunday football zone and a curated kids area with arts and crafts, face painting, games, and a petting zoo.Â

Tickets are on sale now! They have 2-day general admission tickets for $149 each as well as 2-day VIP and 3-day VIP tickets.
The 3-day Trailblazer VIP Ticket includes a Friday night reception at the Knox Mansion complete with live music from Borderland artists, culinary experiences, and a cash bar featuring local craft beer and spirits.
Kids 10 and under can attend for free with a parent or guardian.
