DAY #15: Brick Oven Bistro

Pizza Journal: Brick Oven Bistro has a, well, brick oven! Which makes for some darn good pizza. They also have a nice restaurant and nice menu. See our review from last year, here. I’ve had the stuffed banana pepper pizza at Brick Oven Bistro before and it is excellent. This was my first time trying the regular cheese and pepperoni. It’s pretty good, although if I were to recommend something, I would have to stick with the stuffed banana pepper. The crust on their pizzas is pretty thin and crunchy, the sauce is unique and there was a little too much grease for my liking.
Tester Observations:
CRUST: soft dough, crunchy thin crust
SAUCE: very sweet, a lot per slice but not overpowering, some crunch – could it be onion?
CHEESE: good amount per slice
PEPPERONI: a lot of flavor, greasy
