Raise a Glass for a Great Cause with Habitat for Humanity’s Craft Brew Tour Cards

Habitat for Humanity has once again collaborated with a number of area bars, breweries and distilleries for the House Beer Built Tour, which features coupons for free beer, mead, and cocktails at 30 local places. You can get free beers from 12 Gates, Pressure Drop, Resurgence, Big Ditch, Flying Bison, Hofbrauhaus, and Community Beer Works, free drinks, cocktails, cider, mead and more. Cards are $35 and can be purchased at the HFH office (1765 South Park) or online.
 

Community Beer Works to Release 2 Double IPAs This Weekend

Community Beer Works is debuting a new DIPA and returning an old favorite this weekend. It’s dropping Spruce Hornsby, a double IPA pleasantly hopped with Columbus and Chinook hops for an intense floral/citrus aroma and conditioned on real black spruce tips, and bringing back Fat Rips, a collaboration with Pressure Drop Brewing, a DIPA features Mosaic and Simcoe hops to give it a huge, fruity and dank nose. Both will be available at The Shops at CBW on December 11 (3pm). Preorder here. Place your order by 2pm Friday for same-day home delivery.
 

Resurgence to Hold Family Drive-thru Christmas Spectacular

Beer, Santa and reindeer, all in one place on December 12 at Resurgence Brewing’s Chicago Street home. The brewery’s Family Drive-thru Christmas Spectacular will feature 5 beer releases – Coffee Caramel Crunch Porter, Hot Cocoa Porter, Holiday Ale, Another Caucasian Gary Blonde Stout, and Biscotti Di Pratto Stout (collaboration with DiCamillo’s Bakery), in addition to a visit from Santa and his reindeer. There will also be live music by Tim Britt and Stephen Babcock. Enter via Chicago St. from South Park and follow the signage down Mackinaw St. This will take you behind the brewery the event will be setup.

42 North to Release Fruitcake Gose, New Pre-Emption DIPA

42 North Brewing is set to release a pair of festive brews this weekend just in time for the holidays – Never Gose Bad, a fruit cake-inspired gose, which features apricot, cherry, cranberry, black currant, and pineapple, and the next Pre-Emption Series IPA, ‘Distant Drum’ DIPA. Both will be available starting December 12 at noon at the 42GO Drive-Thru and everywhere else starting next week. Preorder here.
 

West Shore Brewing Plans Quad Can Release

West Shore Brewing want to ensure you have enough beer for the holidays with four can releases on December 12. They will be dropping cans of Christmas Ale, a holiday spiced amber ale with ginger and cinnamon and finished with local toasted melters Honey, and Akron Jct Cream Ale, a crisp, clean lager, in addition to fresh Green Flyer IPA and Imperial Bavarian Cream Donut Stout cans. Mixed cases available for $65. Preorder here.
