We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, Buffalo has an impeccable beer scene. When we think we’ve seen it all, we are reminded that Buffalo goes beyond the typical beer with some mega creations and collaborations. Each week we round up the biggest news and events, all happening in the beer community. While the beer scene is currently making adjustments due to COVID-19, we still have plenty to share in this weeks Buffalo Beer Buzz:
Thin Man Brewery Now Delivering, Plans New Tiger King Lager
You can now have fresh Thin Man beer delivered straight to your door. They are now delivering Monday-Saturday, 12-6pm. Visit here to see what’s available and place your order. All orders must be within 25 miles of their Chandler Street location. Orders will be delivered one business day after purchase. The brewery is also paying homage to Joe “Exotic” McBane of Rochester’s Tap and Mallet with Joe Exotic, a fierce, yet easy drinking, lager featuring Saphir hops, for a hint of citrus while remaining incredibly crisp. Joe Exotic will be released in both Rochester and Buffalo on May 1 (4pm).
Resurgence Brewing to Release Third in Social Distancing IPA Series
Following the release of Social Distancing and Homemade Haircuts, Resurgence Brewing will release Virtual Happy Hour Buffalo-style IPA, the third entry in the series, on May 2 (10am). 4-pack cans are $14.30 and are available for pre-order via HopMule – here. The brewery are also re-releasing cans of Social Distancing Buffalo-style IPA ($14.30 per 4-pack), which is also available for pre-order, along with A Little Diddy New England IPA ($14.30 per 4-pack), which they released last week. Pre-order and pay online via HopMule then visit Resurgence’s contactless curbside pickup at their Chicago St. location to grab your beer this weekend.

Community Beer Works to Release a Pair of New Sours This Week
Community Beer Works are dropping two new Gose With… Sour Ales on May 1 (3pm), Gose With Mixed Berry, a sour brewed with mixed berries and Gose With Key Lime Pie, a key lime pie sour ale. Both beers will be available in 12oz. 6-packs. Brewed with organic raspberry, blackberry, sweet cherry and lactose, Gose With Mixed Berry is delightfully juicy, tart, and refreshing. Gose With Key Lime Pie is brewed with key lime, vanilla and lactose; it’s citrusy, tart and almost like drinking a liquid key lime pie. Flying Bison to Release New Summer Ale, Brickyard Space Bronco IPA Returns
On April 29 (4pm), Flying Bison will be releasing a refreshing new summer beer, Buffaloha Summer Ale, a tart wheat ale brewed with passionfruit nectar & pineapple juice. Bottles, growler fills, and kegs will be available. Then, on May 1 (4pm), transition to the dank side of the spectrum as Lewiston’s Brickyard Brewing will re-release Space Bronco, a Galaxy and Mosaic spinoff of their house IPA. For the first time ever, this batch is brewed with all super fresh contract hops. Expect this to be the freshest, ripest, dankest, most delicious batch ever. Price is $16 (tax included) per 4-pack.
