But frankly, they’re boring af, which is why we here at Step Out Buffalo are challenging you to really step out of your comfort zone with the Buffalo Bucket List Challenge. We know it can be difficult to constantly come up with new and exciting ways to enjoy your time here on planet earth, and more specifically Western New York, so we’re doing the work for you. Every Wednesday this year we’ll publish a new Buffalo Bucket List Challenge post with a fun / interesting / exciting / unique “task” to try.


Ghost Hunt at the Iron Island Museum

Price: Self-guided tours are $2 per person and the guided ghost tours (reservations recommended) are $5 per person.
Hours: Thursday from 6pm-8:30pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12:30pm. Thursday guided tours will be from 6:30pm-7:30pm and overnight investigations are available Sunday-Saturday by request.
Details: Bummed Halloween time is over? Don’t be! You can still ghost hunt year round at the Iron Island Museum.  I mean, if Ghost Hunters thought there was enough activity packed into this small building full of history, I’d say you have a great chance of encountering something on your own personal ghost hunt. The building that currently stands as the Iron Island Museum was originally a church that turned into a funeral home over the years before it became a museum.
Where to Eat: When you’re done scaring yourself at the museum, head over to the highly praised Lovejoy Pizzeria for a selection of hot subs, cold subs, pizza, wings, and more.  You can try their Chicken Finger Club Sub with bacon or their Big John’s “World Famous” Stuffed Hot Pepper Pizza topped with sauce, romano cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and sliced stuffed hot peppers.
