Getting healthy, nailing that promotion, sorting our your finances – they’re all respectable resolutions. But frankly, they’re boring af, which is why we here at Step Out Buffalo are challenging you to really step out of your comfort zone in 2017 with the Buffalo Bucket List Challenge. We know it can be difficult to constantly come up with new and exciting ways to enjoy your time here on planet earth, and more specifically Western New York, so we’re doing the work for you. Every Wednesday this year we’ll publish a new Buffalo Bucket List Challenge post with a fun / interesting / exciting / unique “task” to try.

Murder Mystery: Double-Decker Death!

Death at Doug’s Dive

This tour departs from the Flying Bison Brewery, 840 Seneca Street in Buffalo

When: 5pm (performance begins at 6:30pm and runs about 2 hours) every Saturday in October

Price: $30 per person

Tickets: Book online

Details: Have you ever found yourself sitting at work thinking to yourself, I should’ve been a detective?  Don’t quit your day job just yet, this might help curb your appetite for crime-solving! All you need is a great sense of humor and an ID stating that you’re 21 to make that dream a reality for just one night as you work to crack the case of the double-decker death on this Murder Mystery Tour!

Set in the year 1866, you’ll have an interactive night interviewing any witnesses and gathering clues to find out who did it. The double-decker bus ride will halt at three (possibly more) historic bars in Buffalo. It’s not scripted, so be ready to just go with it and keep the drinks flowing! Please remember to dress properly. The bus is open on the upper deck, so if it’s cold or raining, be prepared!

Where to Eat: Nothing ends a chilly night out with lots of drinks better than a gigantic dish of spaghetti parm from Chef’s! I highly suggest an order of their stuffed hot peppers to go with it! I dare you to make it through all of that cheese. You won’t do it.
