“This is a legacy dining town, where the best restaurants have stood the test of time” true dat.

Thrillist Travel credits the 716 for having a secretly good food scene. But Buffalonians know that our food should be no secret to the rest of the world so we don’t mind sharing!

Thrillist gives a shoutout to Buffalo’s own Toutant, Black Sheep and Chef’s Restaurant while applauding the wide range of food cuisines our city has to offer.

“At the turn of the 20th century, Buffalo welcomed waves of German, Polish, Italian, and Irish immigrants — and you can taste their impact in the superlative pierogi, pizza, and red sauce joints across the city today” Oh, we sure can!

And how can you leave Buffalo without trying a Ted’s Hotdog!  But “not just any hot dog, the mildly spiced, crispy-cased, charcoal-grilled Sahlen’s sausage.”
