It happened 😻
After a long-awaited and several-times-delayed grand opening, Purrfect Cat Cafe‘s doors are *officially* open for business.
Prior to Purrfect’s arrival, Buffalo had never seen a cat cafe before. Cat cafes are pretty popular in Europe, Japan, and other major cities across the US, so we’re feeling pretty #blessed to fianlly have one in a growing area like North Buffalo.
Here’s what you need to know
The trendy animal-centric restaurant is divided into 2 sections, allowing guests to sit and relax with Purrfect Cat Cafe cat-residents on one side (aka the Cat Lounge) and enjoy food and drink on the other. Once opened, the cafe will serve food, including options for diners with specific diets. Aside from the assortment of coffee drinks, smoothies, beer, and wine, guests will have a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free meals to choose from, plus small plates, appetizers, soups, salads, paninis, wraps, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, baked goods and deserts. According to their website the restaurant is “coming soon”.
Purrfect Cafe and Gallery has partnered with Ten Lives Club, a cat rescue organization out of Blasdell, NY to provide homes to adoptable furbabies, and a few of the cats at the cafe are available to adopt. Purrfect also plans to host events that will give other opportunities to own a furry little friend in need of a home.
While you’re there in between petting all the furry babes, you can browse and shop the wall-art. Local artists are invited to display and sell their work, from wall decor, to small furniture, jewelry, handbags, live music, DIY classes, and more – meaning all that cute stuff you see is for sale. PS: If you are interested in getting involved, email the shop!
