“I finally visited the revitalizing Rust Belt city that people call “The City of Good Neighbors” and found a generosity that seems ingrained in its makeup … Buffalo went from a place I didn’t think about, ever, to somewhere I would considering moving.”

Buffalo is a place where the people are just as welcoming as its beautiful surroundings. Jada Yuan, a columnist from the New York Times ever heard of it?, is traveling to  52 Places to Go in 2018 and during her visit in Buffalo she experienced what we already knew:  we’re almost just as nice as Canadians. From meeting the UB Women’s basketball team to borrowing a stranger’s car to visiting some of WNY’s best places to (of course) eating all the food, Jada says she found that the city of good neighbors has “generosity ingrained in its makeup”.

Some of the places Jada stopped at include Hotel Henry, Larkinville, Silo City, Elmwood Porchfest, and Swannie House. Read more about why the New York Times says Buffalo is a must-visit city here.
