Buffalo’s Mohawk Place Returns to Buffalo Music Scene

Mohawk Place, a long standing bar and live music destination in Downtown Buffalo will reopen their doors at 47 E. Mohawk St. tonight, 9/11/14 as Buffalo’s Mohawk Place after being closed for over a year. Opening night will feature The CPX, The Albrights, Second Trip and Ol’ Chili. From there, new owner Rich Platt has shows booked for the next couple weeks.

Platt tells us he hopes to have acts at Mohawk Place every weekend, depending on the calendar.

From what we can tell, Buffalo’s Mohawk Place will carry on with business as usual as far as music and service.

What’s different? The place is a lot cleaner. It’s sporting a snazzy new floor and a fresh coat of paint. The pictures above say it all.

Mohawk Place will have 11 beers on tap including Bud, Bud Light, several flavors of Magic Hat and others available in cans, plus a limited bar.
