Have you heard? Due to Covid-19, we’ve temporarily changed our motto to “Stay In, Buffalo”.  And for the foreseeable future we will be posting content that shares how our community can continue to support local businesses while adhering to guidelines set by the CDC.

At a time like this, we need heartwarming stories all day, every day. And this one fits the bill perfectly.

After days of circulating in the local news (Buffalo News, WGRZ), this socially distanced happy hour dance party on the street in Buffalo is making it *big*. So far the video has been covered by, tweeted about by Today Show host Hoda Kotb, and posted to Instagram by @barstoolsports. How cool is that?!

The original Buffalo News article describes how the whole street party started when a local couple decided to post up on their balcony and blare music. They had a sound system on hand after their audio-visual equipment company had to shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak and resulting closures. Eventually the whole neighborhood turned out.

We stan.
