We offer Simulated Space Missions and planetarium programs all year round suited to a wide range of interests and ages. New events and programs are constantly being developed and updated; many of which are available in after school hours, the evenings and on weekends – flexible to fit into your busy schedule. Using space exploration as a theme, the Challenger Learning Center of Lockport creates positive learning experiences that raise students’ expectations for success, as well as foster a long-term interest in science technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) to motivate them into careers in these fields.
Space Missions: Onboard astronauts in our Space Station Simulator work with their counterparts in our Mission Control Simulator to fly a simulated space mission. This simulation includes various challenges for the crews in space and on the ground. Space mission simulations are great for your group for field trips, birthday parties, corporate team building and much more.
Mobile Planetarium: You can have a stellar experience that brings space to life! Our planetarium is available any-time on-demand, just book ahead of time! It is also available to rent out, and can travel to different locations for various events or parties.
