After visiting various wineries in New York and beyond, winemaker Carl Schmitter and his wife Suzi Maciejewski decided that local wine should be celebrated and made more available in the Buffalo area.
What began in 2005 as a tiny winery storefront on Hertel Avenue, has transformed into Buffalo’s first and only urban winery and cidery.
We pride ourselves on not only belonging to the “City of Good Neighbors,” but also in our ability to support and collaborate with other local small businesses and farms.
