Historic Hemstreet Farm was built in 1825 on the Buffalo Creek Reservation of the Seneca Nation. The former encampment of Chief Big Kettle, and the resting place of many Senecas, lie on the flats above our pasture. The original farmstead barns and the Hatch sawmill built on Buffalo Creek in 1837 now house stables for our llamas.

We welcome residents and visitors to Niagara Falls, Buffalo, East Aurora, or other places in Western New York to see our Erie County Landmark site. It is situated 2.5 miles east from the Highway 400 Expressway and just a 20 minute drive southeast from Buffalo.  Come to see our llama herd and perhaps lead a llama along one of  the nature trails that follow Buffalo Creek. Visit us and learn firsthand about these gentle and intelligent animals.
