Established in 1980 by Don and Teri Lavocat, we have produced top quality annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, shrubs, and trees. In 2015 we opened up our new 19,000 square foot state-of-the-art garden center on County Road, just 1 mile from Transit. With over 800 varieties of plants and hundreds of shrubs and trees to choose from we have become known as the top garden center around for selection and quality. While Don and Teri are still very much involved in the business, their children Kellie, Donnie, and Chris are now running much of the business to make it truly a family owned and operated business. Kellie can be found in the Garden Center designing customer pots or just assisting gardeners. Donnie runs the landscaping business that maintains hundreds of residential and commercial properties. He also does professional landscape design for new and existing homes. Chris oversees the Garden Center and manages the growing operation.
Over the past few years we have been dedicated to using more sustainable practices. We grow our vegetable plants with only organic methods of pest and disease control. All of our flowers are grown with the environment in mind, meaning we don’t use Neonic pesticides (harmful on bees) and have been integrating more natural methods of pest and disease control. We take the environmental issues very seriously and are helping our customers learn about better gardening practices.
As a full-service garden center and nursery we also offer bulk topsoil and mulch for pickup or delivery. We also carry a full selection of fertilizer, soil, bagged mulch, grass seed, and much more garden related items.
