Deep South Taco is a southern style, authentic taqueria and bar in the new meca of Buffalo – in a former gas station on Hertel Avenue.
Chef Richard Hamilton’s menu, inspired by authentic Mexican food he cooked as a ‘breather’ to his fine dining life, is complemented by an extensive house-selected single barrel bourbon program, exceptional tequilas and local and world beers.
The name Deep South Taco is a nod to Richard’s heritage and love of the south. He was born in Oklahoma, lived in Nashville and worked in many other areas of the south – this is where his passion begins and Deep South Taco serves the same food he loves to cook for family and friends.
