The family and friends of John founded the John J. Fiore Memorial Golf Tournament in 2009 (incorporated as The John Fiore Foundation in 2019, we also received 501c3 status in 2020) as a way to honor his memory after he passed away on Flight 3407 in Clarence, New York on February 12, 2009. Our annual Golf Tournament benefits Ronald McDonald House of Western New York and WNY Heroes. In addition, we raise money and donate to other organizations and local people in need. To date we have given more than $400,000 to the 716 community.
