DAY #14: Cappelli’s Pizzeria
Pizza Journal: Cappelli’s is definitely known as a South Town favorite. Hold on, a side note – they have a “Pasta Pizza” – PASTA PIZZA – a generous portion of spaghetti & sauce, then Romano cheese and a double layer of 100% mozzarella cheese with a sprinkle of garlic and oregano. Try with meatballs or Italian sausage. That needs to be added to my bucket list. I might just have to do the 28 days of specialty pizzas next. Cappelli’s pizza is very good. In comparison with the near by options, it’s the best I’ve had so far.
CRUST: Thick crust average dough, soft dough, soft crust, a lot of crust
SAUCE: not memorable but does no harm to pizza, not sweet, not much sauce
CHEESE: sprinkle cheese, not covering entire pizza
PEPPERONI: thick, not overcooked/burnt, greasy
