After years of filling up people in western New York with Italian food the owners at Chef’s have decided to offer some pizza. No, not at the restaurant, but right next door in the old police garage – take out only, drive up window is nice.

We stopped for some pie and decided to get a little off the ho-hum with a Chicken in the Grass – pecorino romano, garlic, chicken, onions, mushrooms, topped with spinach and mozzarella cheese, with a base of olive oil. 17″ (standard large) – $18.99. Now through July 3 they are running a 50% off deal, so we paid only $9.50.  Their menu reads (aka “The M.B.”). If anyone knows what that means please drop us a line.

I have to say the pizza was darn good. Garlic but not too much, fresh ingredients, crust just right.

Their specialty pizzas include Special Mix Salad, Spinach and Garlic, Spaghetti Parm or Chicken Parm, Hawaiian, Robby Goo’s Sunrise, Eggplant, and Veggie. You can also get the local standard cheese and pepperoni. Check out their full menu here.

Garage Pizza is located at 291 Seneca Street, Buffalo |  854-0592

Hours: Mon. – Sat. 11AM-9PM
