The museum’s resident ensemble presents two major musical works by Italian Baroque composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (1710–1736): the Stabat Mater for soprano, alto, strings, and continuo (1736), and the popular opera buffa La serva padrona (The Servant Turned Mistress) (1733).
