A new meadery reportedly has plans to open up shop in East Aurora in the future. Deanna Grace Spengler filed for a manufacturing license in June for Three Bear Meadery, according to Buffalo Business First, who also reports that she plans to make the honey-based mead at her Maple Avenue home in Hamburg and sell the products at farm markets and through online sales. Three Bear Meadery is named for her three boys.
